Karen has been working as a therapist for over 27 years. As a result, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her psychotherapy practice. In addition, Karen has a genuine warmth and strong capacity to connect and empathise with all age groups.

From early in her career Karen became interested in child development. In particular, the relationship between children and their parents and how these foundational relationships set the stage for adult relationships.  In addition, losses and endings, including end of life have been of particular interest.

Karen understands the significance of all our relationships throughout life. Not only those between each other but also the relationship we have with ourselves.  As such, the loss of a loved one and the ending of our own life can be extremely painful.

In addition to her psychotherapy work, Karen offers mentoring, clinical supervision and consultancy services.
